Our designs are in the iTunes App Store!

New iPhone App for SnapMyLife

My current employer Mobicious Inc has launched an iPhone App for the photo sharing network SnapMyLife.  This is a free app that allows users to upload their iPhone pics straight to the web complete with geotags and titles.  Enough with selling it though, this is great for me just because thousands of people get to see the graphics that I put together for this app.

The design of the App is far from finalized, mainly because Apple threw SDK changes at our developers every week or so until release so it was damn near impossible to perfect.  That said, the App still works pretty well and looks pretty sleak where my graphics were applied ( loading screens, icons, logo, app symbol etc).  I hope everyone is able to enjoy the app, as it is pretty cool to use and I really hope that my icons are eye-catching enough to round up a good number of users!

Change Innovations goes Live.

Change Innovations homepage

Well today was a pleasant surprise as we learned that one of the web pages we designed months ago finally went live.  The design of the site including the flash animation in the header was created by AgroKrag, then the source files were sent off to be coded and that was the last we heard.

This is actually a pretty big deal considering it is the first site we designed to actually go live (there are about 4 more in developement).  Feel free to check out the site, don’t knock us if it is too wordy, it is a corporate site after all.

Projects like these tend to be fairly difficult for designers since they fall more in the “information architecture” realm than the “artistic” .  We were able to squeeze a few nice accents and colors in and the flash animation came together very nicely.  For this project we were given only a logo and a couple paragraphs to describe who Change Innovations were, and from this we were able to garner enough of a guiding light to get us where we needed to go.

We should have more of these sites going live in the coming months, but who knows really, it’s all up to the developers.  Oh and keep your eyes peeled for the Cult Painting!

New Logo just completed and approved for Day Care.

Jewish Excel Logo

Thanks to our every loyal customers over at the Boylston Technology Group we now have another great addition to the logo collection. The Jewish Scholarship Fund “Excel” is for young Jewish children to enroll in exclusive daycares. The idea behind this one was to create something clean and professional yet child oriented so that parents felt comfortable with the brand. The use of the Star of David in the round-a-bout was a pretty clever idea one of our guys came up with which explained so much in one image that the design was unanimously approved.

Keep an eye open for more logo design work for these guys as they have been really great to us thus far.

More is sure to come, including some great illustrations from Jesse done for a small Belly Button Ring design company, TummyToys.com
